Daya Prakash Sinha is one of the most renowned playwrights in India today. His plays are larger than life, timeless and rare modern-classic, theatrical interpretations of actual historical or mythology inspired events; outstanding grand spectacles that unfurl across time. More than the passive incantation of past glory, his plays highlight India’s true socio-political journey: from ancient to modern era, diverging ideational drives, exploration of legendary and poignant historical characters.  They exhibit pathos and drama; aptly highlighting India’s cultural ethos and elemental human sensibility.
